Army Instructors







The SAI will serve as the chair of the JROTC department. The SAI will establish and execute the overall management of the program, as well as teach classes, and supervise the program's budget, supply, cadet records, grading, testing, awards, while maintaining good relations with school faculty, administrators, students, parents, and the community.

The SAI is expected to be involved in community activities and social events related to or showcasing JROTC. SAIs are the liaison between the Army and the civilian community by representing both the Army and Lake City High School. Instructors devote long hours not only in the classroom, but also after school and weekend outings with cadets. All instructors should serve as role models for the youth they teach.

All JROTC instructors are responsible to the US Army Cadet Command to follow Army regulations, lesson plans, and other guidance.




Military service instructor to secondary level cadets, responsible for assisting the Senior Instructor for implementing the policies and procedures for the high school JROTC unit program according to national, state, and district standards.

Primary drill and leadership instructor for mentoring, and motivate cadets in promoting, social, civic, character education, and physical growth.

Responsible for assisting in managing and implementing the military service’s national education curriculum and program requirements; advise and assist in plans, coordination, and supervision of all co-curricular service learning, special activities or events (military ball, drill meets, marksmanship matches, honor guards, and other extra curricular activities).

Assist in property management and fund raising for the unit. Assists in administering the automate cadet record system and reporting for military and district information.
